homicide. >> it means legally taking the life of another. it means michael jackson did not die of natural causes. he was not a suicide. the government concluded that someone else killed him. there are a wide variety of charges within homicide. intentional homicide, you can get the death penalty for. negligent homicide is a much less serious crime. it's an unintentional negligent killing. certainly he seems to be in that end of the spectrum. no one seems to suggest that conrad murray intentionally killed jackson. >> murray told investigators he was trying to wean jackson off the propofol. he lowered the dosage and used two other sedatives two days before jackson died. on the night before jackson died he caved in to his demands and gave him propofol again. he also gave an account of what he says happened in the hours before jackson died. according to police documents he says he gave jackson four different drugs. this is a time line. about 1:30 in the morning he gave jackson ten milligrams of val valium. then he had two milligrams of ativan. then versed. about 5:00 a.m., more ativan. at 7:30

admission ever. yesterday here in l.a. michael jackson's mother katherine was awarded permanent custody of the three children. one strange thing, her husband joe jackson -- this is true, signed a statement that said he only visits the house occasionally and will not be involved in raising the kids. he will only stop by when he needs a new pencil to draw in his eyebrows and mustache. this is like dracula signing a statement not to promise to bite necks. they want to change the youngest boy's blanket's name. they want to change it to slanket. apparently, they have so sort of endorsement deal with -- that's not true. not everything surrounding the jackson family is strange, but this is odd. this is the way that the court decided to award custody. tell me if this seems unusual to you. >> custody of michael jackson's three children was granted today at a los angeles courthouse. after carefully reviewing the details of the case, superior court judg opted for the little used wheel of custody. and the legal guardian is -- katherine jackson. katherine jackson takes home all three children and a stu
